One Numa Isn't Quite Enough

I simply just love it when other countries make their own versions of a song; it either sounds all right or just plain bad. Anyhow, here are a few versions of the Numa Numa song that originated in Romanian in the first place. I simply couldn't hear some of it without shedding a tear, it's too funny.

I won't bash any of these videos personally, but I would still like to hear your inputs!

Israel

Korean

Japanese Dance Version

Taiwan

Vietnamese

Latino

Dominican Republic

Thank you for finding these videos! Darn. I should have done my research. I didn’t know there were other versions to the “Numa Numa” song out there ‘til now. Yeah. Rosie wins. Keri loses. Such is life. :D

Anyways, I commented on each video as I was watching it and decided to post this comment in list style for easier reading. Enjoy!

Israeli

– Love the random humping
– What’s up with the tea?
– There’s girls are so fake
– Cool pink theme
– The guy with black hair, pink shirt and white pants is my fav

Korean

- Cute beginning with the letter
- How the heck did we go from being on the bench to this random dance thing? Haha
- She looks like Lucy Lui from Charlie’s Angels with her glasses on
- Love the hairstyle (with the ponytails) and the outfit
- Love the stars around the guy
- Haha that was such a fake surprise with the letter thing (when she was putting it in his bag)
- I love the heart shape thing she does in the hallway (with her hands)
- Love the dancing in the hallway better than the dancing in the studio place
- She reminds me of me so much it’s not even funny. She does the cute/sexy/weeeeee thing very well
- Best one overall!!!!!!

Japanese

- Scary begging because she looks like a guy (the middle person)
- Cute peace sign stuff with the dancing
- Some of the dancing looks like a cross between a rodeo thing and sweeping the floor thing
- Doing the same thing over and over again….so funny
- Love the English “Baby I love you”
- Love the nice breakdown from the original song (with the new beat)
- Too many hand movements for my taste
- I’m happy the light in the background changed colors. I would’ve liked it if it went through the whole rainbow though
- Cute change of singers
- I knew it! When the front person came out, I knew it was a guy. Am I right?
- I love the “Nanana say goodbye” thing
- Like the behind the scenes thing at the end
- Do people over there really dress like that for school?
- I love Japanese people and their hair. They get more creative than Americans.
- Nice “Lucky lucky lucky” stuff

Taiwanese

- Wow. Those cellphones. Haha
- I kinda like the lyrics on the screen. They’re a little big though
- Love the girl’s hair
- Love the sprinkle dust thing
- She’s so cute and lovable
- I love the way she looks at her blue star wand
- Love the random kiss she did (with the white puff)
- Love the supergirl stance

Vietnamese

- Jumping out of the ground is cool
- I don’t like his outfit.
- He’s not that cute. He looks old too
- Love the crowd cheering
- Looks like a fun concert. Sorry I missed it
- Where’d the flowers go? It kept changing
- Their dance moves look like something out of an aerobics class.
- Love the lighting
- I want to put my fist in the air too!
- Why they do the slow motion effects when he went down? He didn’t do anything special
- Love the colored tube thingies the people in the crowd have
- The big faces (the sculpture stuff) in the background scare me
- I like that there were also male backup dancers

Latino

- The crowd wasn’t feeling it. Neither was I
- Stupid dance moves
- The guy tried so hard. Haha.
- Worst one. Meh.

Dominican

- Love the hair
- More pink! Nice shirt man
- The backup guy singers had the funniest expressions and hand movements
- You could tell they were all trying not to laugh. So cute
- Fiesta fiesta!
- I like that one instrument in the background…the long cylinder with the grooves that you scrap up and down with a stick.
- I love the expression of that one white looking guy in the crowd. He was as bored as hell
- The crowd seemed like they didn’t know how to take the song. Some were like, “Aww. That’s cute.” Others were, “……..wtf?”
- I love how Hispanics roll their tongues. So hot!!
- I wish he turned around and shook his tush!
- Nice, soft ending
